Thank you for an amazing
FAIRFAX FESTIVAL
We can't wait to do it again
On the second weekend in June, 2024

SUPPORT MUSICIANS AT THE FESTIVAL
Every year, the Festival starts from scratch to raise money to pay for the talented musicians who play for free on every stage. Keep local music ALIVE by chipping in what you can.

ANNOUNCING THIS YEAR'S POSTER!
Holly Pierson created this year's winning poster! You can find her artwork at her booth in the Arts and Crafts area of the festival, or check her out online.
You'll be able to purchase posters and t-shirts adorned with this rad design at the Festival info booth!
Welcome to the Festival
All of Fairfax seems to participate in the Festival, and the after-party goes well into the night at our local venues.
The Fairfax Festival embodies the values that are dear to all Marinites: community, family, social responsibility, sustainability and, of course, a great party.
It kicks off with a traditional Family Film Night in the Ballfield on Friday night. Come back for the parade at 10 AM on Saturday, then enjoy two days of celebrating the good things in life and in Fairfax.
Come hear great local music at three stages, shop for crafts and flea market treasures, enjoy fresh, wholesome food, beer, organic wine tasting, entertain the kids in our expanded children’s area, and ponder social and environmental issues at the Ecofest. Once again we will have US PureWater filtered water stands so you can refill your water containers.
The Festival offers something for everyone who attends. The Festival is put on by a volunteers group of your friends and neighbors. We take special pride in being a 100% volunteer group (no outside promoter needed). So come enjoy our hometown event, and be sure to support your local craftspeople, artists, flea marketers, breweries, and food purveyors.
And a huge THANK YOU to our local sponsors – we couldn’t do it without you!

About the Fairfax Festival
The Fairfax Festival is an annual music, food, and arts event held in Fairfax, California. Fairfax is a small town nestled in the redwoods in Marin County, just north of San Francisco. We're a destination for cyclists, nature-lovers, and foodies.
The festival is typically held over a weekend in June and is a celebration of our community's funky culture, lively music community, local artists, and, of course food and drink.
Please check out the Visit page for maps and information about parking.
During the festival, roam the arts and crafts booths, enjoy live music on multiple stages featuring local and regional bands, and feast on a wide variety of food from vendors serving up everything from traditional festival fare to international cuisine.
Parents, make sure to head over to the Ballfield where we have activities to entertain your children. Many families make a home base on the ballfield and take turns parenting and enjoying the rest of the Festival.
In addition to the music, food, and arts, the Fairfax Festival also features a parade on Saturday morning, which is a highlight of the whole weekend. Full of creative, colorful floats, local music, and community groups, it's the perfect way to kick off the Festival.
The Fairfax Festival is a wonderful celebration of community and culture, and is a must-visit event for anyone in the Bay Area looking for music, shopping, and fun in a beautiful California setting.
